The Subcontract Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and managing subcontracts for a variety of high dollar, high complexity systems, materials and services in support of all product lines. This role will be responsible for supplier selection, negotiation and creation of subcontract and long term agreements, and management of large and complex supplier programs. Responsibilities

Lead several supply chain sourcing projects concurrently across programs Evaluate, analyze and assess trends and advancements in materials, technologies, sources of supply and the market to establish supply solutions Assist in identifying, evaluating and selecting potential suppliers/partners for systems, materials and services Ensure proper assessments and audits are accomplished to confirm qualifications and capabilities of potential subcontractors Prepare requests for proposals, obtain subcontractor proposals, support cost proposals, prepare cost or price analysis and establish negotiation strategy Negotiate all aspects of high-value, major subcontracts or long term agreements in collaboration with programs, including scope of work, pricing and payments, and all contract terms and conditions Prepare subcontract documents in accordance with appropriate company and customer requirements, including contract, statements of work, technical specifications, data requirements and special provisions as required Take appropriate actions to ensure contract compliance and performance, including coordination with other departments as well as effective communications with subcontractors to assure their understanding of key issues, risks, objectives and milestones of the program Manage multiple supplier contracts to ensure performance and execution to contract and program requirements, including regular program reviews Collaborate with procurement, programs, engineering and operations to meet the needs of the business in a fast paced and dynamic environment Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or other related field 3 years experience in a related field such as supply chain, procurement, contracts or program management Demonstrated success conducting analysis, establishing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts and managing complex programs High integrity, credibility and character Experience and success working collaboratively across functions This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in related field Government subcontracting experience with knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) as well as commercial contracting by Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) Knowledge of import/export regulations (ITAR/EAR) Experience with Strategic Sourcing and negotiating various long term and subcontract types and associated terms, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), Cost Plus (CP) using Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Definite Delivery/Definite Quantity (DDDQ) and Requirements contracts Program/project management and experience leading teams Familiarity with Oracle ERP How We Care
