Commercial Account Manager - Small Business 11711 North Meridan St, 7th Fl, Carmel, IN 46032 Join our Small Business Account Management team. This role focuses on providing high-quality account service to our small business clients. Location: Indiana - Remote - US-based role What you’ll do

Processes applications, policies, endorsements, binders, certificates, audit requests, agency billing, and other items related to the servicing of clients from all regions including Midwest, Northeast, and West Assists clients with policy coverages and related questions; reviews policy coverages for potential gaps and other needs of the policyholder Works with Producers to assist clients with the service needs mentioned above Renews and retains assigned accounts; conducts renewal process with Producers to provide the best possible options and additional coverage options Maintains client files in appropriate systems and provides standard office/administrative support Maintain carrier relationships and follow changes with contracted carriers; keep up with industry trends Other duties as assigned Service

Establishes and maintains high levels of trust and confidence with clients through introductions, periodic contacts, and prompt responses to questions and issues Processes all applications, policies, endorsements, and related servicing items in a timely and accurate manner Educates clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusions, and insurance needs; assists with coverage changes Meets quality and timeliness standards in the Agency Management System and documents all activity Other duties as assigned Marketing

Collaborates with Placement Department and Producers to transition new business written For renewal marketing: submits applications with proper documentation and follows up for timely quotes and policies Enters policy information into carrier websites for quote options when needed Negotiates premiums and commissions with underwriters and wholesalers Present quote options to the client and/or Producer Bind and issue policies in carrier systems or order policies from underwriters Other duties may be assigned Personal and Organizational Development

Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing Maintains cordial relations with clients, co-workers, carriers, wholesalers, vendors, and other contacts Maintains up-to-date client records and documentation Communicates effectively, cooperates, and provides guidance to achieve business goals Stays informed on industry trends and product developments to continuously improve knowledge and performance Resolves problems or enhances service in a timely manner Works well in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple tasks Ensures expert knowledge is maintained Other duties may be assigned What you’ll bring

Full knowledge of Property & Casualty lines of coverage and services Strong problem recognition and logical analysis skills Experience with Agency Management Systems, rating procedures, coverages, and industry operations Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong attention to detail and time management Ability to multi-task and prioritize Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred Two or more years' experience in a mid-size brokerage or carrier Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor Indiana Property & Casualty License Valid Driver License Ability to travel independently to clients; some air travel may be required Compensation

The national average salary for this role is $41,000.00 - $60,000.00 in base pay, exclusive of bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on experience, skills, training, certifications, and education, while considering internal equity and market data. Why EPIC
