We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to shape the future of industrial technology at Amazon. In this role, you'll design intuitive digital experiences that bridge advanced technology with human needs, enabling thousands of associates to work effectively in our technology‑enhanced environments. Your designs will transform workplace interactions through control interfaces, monitoring dashboards, and operational systems that prioritize user needs, safety, and efficiency. Working across hundreds of facilities worldwide, you'll create simple yet powerful solutions that balance technical requirements with user needs, directly impacting our global infrastructure and workforce experience.

Key Job Responsibilities

Design intuitive interfaces and experiences for industrial technology applications

Create user flows and interaction patterns that simplify complex operations

Develop and maintain scalable design systems

Lead user research initiatives with operators and field personnel

Build and test prototypes for various use cases

Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety teams

Ensure consistency across multiple platforms and interfaces

Document and communicate design decisions effectively

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience

Experience in usability testing

Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field

Strong portfolio demonstrating complex system design

Experience with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.)

Proven track record of shipping production‑ready designs

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in managing UX Design and rapid prototyping efforts

Experience guiding, training and mentoring others

Experience designing for industrial or technical environments

Knowledge of human factors and ergonomics

Background in safety‑critical or mission‑critical system design

Experience designing for operations or manufacturing settings

Strong understanding of data visualization and complex systems

Salary Range

USA, MA: $137,800.00 - $186,400.00 USD annually

USA, WA (Seattle): $137,800.00 - $186,400.00 USD annually

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
