Fully Remote with the option to work in-office or hybrid in Philadelphia, PA, Wilmington, DE, or Alexandria, VA if so desired. Must reside in the Mid-Atlantic region (NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, VA, DC, CT). GENERAL SUMMARY

Duties include multiple facets of patent prosecution including essential and specialized client and attorney support relating to the docketing and deadline maintenance of all phases of domestic and foreign patent prosecutions, from pre-filing to final maintenance of issued patents. This position requires current familiarity with docketing software and IP docketing best practices. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Coordinate the implementation and execution of docketing procedures in consultation with the Docketing Coordinator, IP Practice Manager, and IP attorneys Assist in daily quality assurance review for patent filings Run customized dockets reports for patent cases daily and at other specified intervals Assist with the timely opening of new client matters in our docketing systems Assist in maintaining and updating foreign and U.S. patent prosecutions in our docket systems to track deadlines associated with obtaining and maintaining foreign and domestic patents Perform electronic interactions with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as well as foreign and international intellectual property entities (e.g., searches, status checks, electronic filings) Contribute to general needs of the IP Practice including back-up assistance and participating in special projects Prepare renewal fees, maintenance fees, and property reports for attorneys and clients as needed Attend to the maintenance, reporting and payments of foreign renewals QUALIFICATIONS

At least 5+ years Intellectual Property legal experience Must possess advanced knowledge of Patent rules and procedures Experience with CPi docketing program preferred Be proficient in navigating EFS, Patent Center, ESPACENET and other foreign patent offices Strong clerical skills, including organization, time management and attention to detail Ability to multi-task, work independently and organize workload to meet deadlines Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and document management programs Excellent communication, writing, proofreading, and editing skills are necessary Availability of working overtime during peak docketing periods (i.e. client intake, transfers, etc.) PERKS
