Role & Responsibilities: Our Banking client is looking for someone who can step in to support a major gap in their loss mitigation and collections space. Specifically related to loans sold on the secondary market to Fannie Mae, where servicing responsibilities are retained.

Location:
Remote, must work EST
Duration:
6 Months, Through July 2026
Responsibilities The role requires a deep understanding of Fannie Mae servicing expectations, portals, forms, and the related documentation. Their market includes a large population in The Villages (Retirement Community); many cases aren’t traditional delinquencies but situations involving deceased borrowers. Failure to manage these servicing obligations correctly can create a domino effect—including the potential need to repurchase loans—so we need someone who can navigate this space with accuracy, urgency, and confidence.
Requirements
5+ years of experience with Fannie Mae Servicing and Loss Mitigation
Experience with deceased customer aspect is a huge plus
Deferral arrangements with Fannie Mae
FM Portal (Fannie Mae Technology Manager) Experience is a must
Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
Nice to Have
FIS Horizon is a huge plus, but any Core exp will suffice
