This role is an export licensing position within Raytheon’s Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) business, not a shipping/logistics role. It supports and manages export/import licensing activities and provides guidance on ITAR and EAR requirements. This is a remote position with potential periodic travel to Raytheon site locations.
Position: Manager, Global Trade. You will act as the Empowered Official and collaborate with cross-functional teams to champion compliant business practices in export and import regulations. This role reports to the ASDS, Air Dominance Sr. Manager and works with the ASDS Global Trade Team and ASDS Stakeholders to develop strategies to support international programs and business development capture efforts. The Air Dominance portfolio includes programs such as Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM).
What You Will Do
Serve as Empowered Official
Provide export/import licensing guidance and license portfolio management guidance
Support the business with developing export/import licensing strategies to enable growth
Act as SME in ITAR and EAR export authorizations requirements and drafting
Review, prepare, submit, and manage various Export/Import Authorizations (Licenses: DSP-5, DSP-85, DSP-73, DSP-61, DOC licenses; Agreements: MLAs and TAAs; Exemptions/Exceptions) to authorize transfers of regulated hardware, technical data, software, and services
Review and approve export transactions involving engineering support services, meetings, employee travel, visitor access, technical data/defense service exports, and hardware exports
Provide day-to-day guidance and support to SIM personnel on export licensing and compliance needs (e.g., releasability). Interpret and explain export compliance requirements, license provisions, export regulations, and Raytheon export policies
Assist with investigations and reviews of possible GT escapes and disclosures

Contribute to continuous improvement of licensing and compliance processes
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience
Experience drafting and submitting Department of State and/or Department of Commerce license and agreement applications and other authorization requests
Experience with DECCS, SNAP-R, OCR EASE, and/or other automated licensing and compliance systems and resources
Qualifications We Prefer
Active and transferable DoD Secret Clearance
Currently an Empowered Official
Self-starter with ability to develop networks with internal customers and collaborate with multiple functions
Strong time management, prioritization, analytical and organizational skills
Problem solver who can work under time-sensitive circumstances, collaboratively or independently
Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills
Ability to work with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
Extensive knowledge of Global Trade systems such as RGEMS and/or SAP

Salary & Benefits The salary range is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. Short-term and long-term incentive programs may apply, depending on role and eligibility.
