Consultant

Contract
with a client in
Oshkosh, WI (Hybrid) . Candidate must have strong hands-on expertise in SAP Basis, SAP MII, and Oracle Database administration to be considered for this role.
Rate Range:
$41/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, NetWeaver) while performing regular system monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability.
Administer Oracle Databases supporting SAP systems, including performance tuning, backups/recovery, patching, and capacity planning.
Support and enhance SAP MII integrations by developing dashboards, troubleshooting MES/shop-floor interface issues, and ensuring stable connectivity with SAP ERP.
Perform system upgrades, kernel patches, transport management, system refreshes, and security/authorization administration in alignment with SAP and Oracle best practices.
Manage incidents, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization across SAP Basis, MII, and Oracle DB components following ITIL processes.
Collaborate with infrastructure, functional, and manufacturing teams to maintain seamless end-to-end system integration across SAP ERP, shop-floor systems, and database layers.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, SAP MII support, and Oracle Database management.
Strong proficiency in SAP Basis operations, including system upgrades, transport management, monitoring, security, and integration with Oracle DB.
Proven experience with SAP MII configuration, MES/shop-floor integration, and Oracle DB administration including performance tuning, backups, and recovery.

Pay Details:
$41.00 to $50.00 per hour
