Responsibilities
Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of benefits and ERISA claims with a focus on class and complex litigation, and matters before the DOL
Federal court litigation skills are preferred
Class action experience is preferred
ERISA or complex commercial litigation experience is preferred
Experience with complex e-discovery is preferred
Qualifications
JD from accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials
5+ years of experience in benefits, class, or other types of sophisticated litigation preferred
Current Louisiana Bar admission
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail and commitment to excellence; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork, along with ability to work independently on various projects
