YouwillberesponsibleforsourcingnewandworkingwithexistingcustomerstohelpthemsolvetheirAudio,Visual,Lighting,andControls(A/V/L/C)needs.Youmustbeabletomeetorexceedannualsalesgoalsbyidentifyingandsourcingnewcustomers,drivingtheprojectquotationprocessandprovidingexcellentcustomerservice.

WhatWillYourDayLookLike?

Activeandongoingprospectingofpotentialcustomersbyexhibitingaconsultativesalesapproachtodetermineacustomer'saudio,video,andlightingneeds.

Developspricequotationsandbidresponsesthataretimely,complete,accurate,andprofitable.Turnsquotes/bidsintoactual”Sales”bydevelopingaprofessionalandtrustedrelationshipwiththecustomer,productmanufacturersandinternalengineeringpersonnel.

Maintainsastrongsalespipelinewithdetailedweeklyreporting.

MaintainsathoroughunderstandingofourproductsandservicesandstaysabreastofnewA/V/L/Cequipment,gear,accessories,andindustrytrends.

Respondspromptlytocustomerinquiriesandeffectivelyresolvesanyquestions/issues/complaints;conferswithmanagementwhenneeded.Thisincludesresearchingtechnicalmanualsandotherresourcestoanswerquestionsandresolvetechnicalissues.

Attendweeklymeetingsandparticipatesinperiodictrainingandproducteducationsessions.

YouwillberesponsibleforhelpingusgrowourbusinessintheTennesseeandNorthernAlabamaareas.Thispositionrequiresdailytravelinthisareatosource,visitandgrowcustomerrelationships.Traveloutsideofthisareamaybeneededonanoccasionalbasis.

Otherdutiesofasimilarnatureandlevelmaybeassigned.

2+yearsSalesexperienceintheAudio/Video/Light(AVL)commercialintegrationindustry.

Theabilitytoidentifyandexpandthecustomerbase

Theabilitytocreateandimplementbusinessplanstoincludecoldcallingandprospecting

Demonstratedsuccessindevelopingcoldtargetsintoconvertedsales

Workingwithinternalteammemberstodeveloppricequotationsandbidresponsesthataretimely,complete,accurateandprofitable

Hasaproventrackrecordofmeetingorexceedingaggressivesalesgoals

GoodunderstandingoftheAVLmarketplaceincludingproductsandtrends

Also,must:

Possessstrongcommunication,customerserviceandnegotiationskillsincludingtheabilitytodescribeprojectandproductdeliverableinamannerthatisunderstandabletocustomers.

Excellentorganizationalskillsandabilitytosuccessfullyhandlemultipletasks/projectswithminimaldirectionandwithinpromiseddeadlines.

Availabilitytoworkoutsideofnormallyscheduledworkhoursandtravelasneeded.

GoodunderstandingofMicrosoftOfficeproducts,includingExcelandWord.

Acompanyvehicleisnotprovidedinthisposition.Musthaveavaliddriver’slicenseandadrivingrecordthatmeetsourinsurancecompany’sinsurabilityrequirements.

Physicaldemandsandworkenvironment: Thispositionistypicallysedentaryinnature.Musthavedexterityofhandsandfingerstooperateacomputerkeyboard,mouse,andtohandleotherofficeequipment.Occasionhavetoliftandtransportmoderatelyheavyequipment(upto50pounds).

Workisusuallyperformedinsidethoughoccasionaloutsideactivitiesmayoccurforshortperiodsoftimeinaseasonaltemperature-fluctuatingenvironment.
