As an Account Executive, you will: Contribute directly to ourdisplay advertising sales revenues
Work closely with theSales Managerand regional sales team
Selldigital and content advertising solutionsacross our portfolio of marketleading scientific publications
Maintain strongSalesforce CRM discipline
Actively participate inteam learning, development, and knowledge sharing
Responsibilities: Identify, articulate, and present the value of Springer Nature's advertising solutions to prospective and existing clients
Prospect to build a pipeline and generate new business, including outbound calls, emails, social outreach, and event engagement
Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend value-driven solutions
Negotiate, refine, and close advertising programs
Seek out and communicate market and competitive insights
Work with internal departments to ensure the successful delivery of services to our customers
Maintain aclean, accurate, and uptodate Salesforce CRM database,leveragingit for forecasting, reporting, and strategy
Participate in conferences and trade shows
Other duties as assigned
Experience, Skills & Qualifications: Essential 2+ years' sales or sales support experience with a focus on business development overaccount management
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership
Comfortable with outbound outreach and confident initiating conversations by phone, email, and in-person
Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to quickly develop rapport across multiple channels
Clear-thinking, data-driven approach with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages
Strong proficiency withSalesforceand Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook), with a commitment to CRM discipline
Ability to travel (approximately 10%)
Desirable Experience with lead generation and highvolume business development
Solutionsbased sales experience, with an emphasis on articulating value rather than competing on price
Presentation experience to individuals and/or groups in person or via video conferencing
Working knowledge of ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar prospecting tools

US Annualized Base Salary Range: $66,300 - $75,000. This role is eligible for a quarterly sales bonus plan. The salary offer may vary based on work experience, education, skill level, and equity. The US salary range does not align with the salary ranges in other countries when converted to the currency of that country.
