
Program Director – Preschool Program (Brooklyn, NY)
Full-Time | Salary: $80,000–$95,000 + Benefits
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Program Director to lead a preschool program in Brooklyn. This leadership role oversees educational, clinical, and operational components to ensure high-quality services for children and families while maintaining full regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: • Provide overall leadership and daily management of the preschool program • Hire, supervise, train, and support educational, clinical, and support staff • Oversee curriculum development, classroom placements, and program quality • Ensure compliance with NYS, DOE, and agency regulations • Serve as liaison with parents, school districts, and community partners • Manage program budgets, reporting, and long-term planning • Lead staff development, in-service training, and quality assurance initiatives • Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children and staff Qualifications: • Master’s Degree in Special Education (required) • NYS Permanent Certification in Special Education • NYS Permanent Certification as a School Administrator/Supervisor • 5+ years of Special Education teaching experience • 4+ years of school or program administration experience • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively • Valid NYS Driver’s License
