Job Summary:
As a Mortgage Loan Processor II, you will assist the senior processing team in ensuring mortgage applications are processed efficiently and accurately. You will play a key role in gathering and reviewing documentation from borrowers, communicating with third-party vendors, and supporting the overall loan processing workflow. This is an entry-level role that offers on-the-job training and growth opportunities within the mortgage industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Verification:
Assist in verifying borrower employment, income, and assets, and ensure documentation meets company and regulatory guidelines.
Coordination with Vendors:
Communicate with appraisers, title companies, and other third-party vendors to obtain necessary reports.
Data Entry:
Accurately enter and update loan information in the loan origination system.
Support Senior Processors:
Assist senior loan processors and underwriters with additional tasks and documentation requests.
Compliance:
Ensure all documentation is in compliance with lending regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED is required; an associate's or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Experience:
0-2 years of experience in the mortgage, banking, or financial services industry preferred. Recent graduates or candidates with administrative experience are encouraged to apply.
Skills:
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
