
About the Role
As the leader for Global Partner Excellence, you will spearhead Rubrik's partner pre-sales enablement strategy, overseeing vital initiatives such as the established Tech Champion program and the soon-to-launch Sales Champion program. Your mission is to design scalable, role-based enablement programs that boost participation from partners, enhance deal performance, and cultivate a vibrant partner community that champions Rubrik’s value in every interaction. Additionally, you will guide the transformation of Rubrik's internal enablement content, modifying sales, SE, and GTM materials for partner application, whether through a small team that reports directly to you or via shared resources within the Sales and SE Transformation organizations. A key aspect of this role is empowering the internal Global Partner Organization (GPO) to adopt new programs and methodologies that more effectively support and engage partners.

In the role of Global Partner Enablement Director, you will shape how Rubrik’s partners learn, engage, and thrive. You will lead initiatives that build partner competence while ensuring Rubrik's ecosystem continues to expand with confidence, consistency, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Partner Sales and Pre-Sales Enablement Programs
Own and drive Rubrik's partner enablement strategy, focusing on sales and technical readiness across the ecosystem.
Launch, scale, and execute the Sales Champion Program globally, establishing it as a fundamental capability-building resource for partner Account Executives.
Further develop and expand the existing Tech Champion Program, aligning technical and sales readiness for a seamless enablement experience.
Design frameworks for graduation paths and competencies that enhance AE and SE mastery, consistency, and overall sales effectiveness.
Collaborate with the customer transformation team to create a Partner Champion Community that encourages peer learning, engagement, recognition, and advocacy among partners.
Develop methods for engagement and recognition to boost participation levels, retention, and alignment with Rubrik's go-to-market strategies.
Establish and monitor KPIs that link partner engagement and enablement participation to quantifiable sales outcomes like pipeline creation, conversion, and consistency.
Lead and Coordinate Partner Content Adaptation
Oversee the adaptation of internal GTM, sales, and SE enablement content, ensuring it is tailored for partner relevance and usability.
Work closely with Sales Transformation, SE Transformation, and Partner Marketing teams to synchronize enablement materials for different audiences.
Provide leadership to a small team or matrixed contributors responsible for content adaptation, quality assurance, and scalability.
Ensure all partner-facing enablement content is role-specific, modular, and in alignment with Rubrik’s branding, methodologies, and sales strategies.
Empower and Enable Internal GPO Teams
Facilitate internal training and skill development across the Global Partner Organization (GPO) to ensure effective adoption and implementation of new programs.
Create enablement pathways for Partner Sales Managers, BDMs, GAMs, SEs, and Alliance Leaders to embed Champion programs and partner engagement practices into their daily routines.
Establish systems for ongoing learning and capability enhancement across GPO roles, ensuring alignment with evolving partner strategies and business objectives.
Develop and nurture robust feedback loops among GPO leadership, partner-facing teams, internal sales and SE transformation teams, and channel marketing to consistently refine enablement strategy and execution.
Data, Measurement & Continuous Improvement
Define and track KPIs for partner participation, enablement engagement, and their impact on Rubrik's sales performance.
Utilize analytics to continually refine programs, enhance partner engagement, and demonstrate clear ROI to leadership.
Collaborate with Operations and Analytics teams to create visibility dashboards that monitor progress and inform strategic decisions.
Who You Are
Qualifications
10+ years in partner enablement, sales/technical readiness, or channel programs within enterprise software or SaaS.
Proven track record of building and managing pre-sales enablement or champion programs with measurable impact.
In-depth understanding of partner ecosystems, AE/SE roles, and indirect go-to-market strategies.
Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional and matrixed teams, including content or enablement specialists.
Strong collaboration skills with leaders in Sales, SE, Customer Success, and Partner Operations.
Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
