Summary
We are looking for a driven and experienced Director of IT Applications to lead our digital transformation initiatives. This key leadership role involves defining strategic directions, implementing, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA across essential pharmaceutical business functions. The ideal candidate should have significant expertise in core SAP modules related to Production Delivery, Supply Chain, Quality Management (QM), Manufacturing (PP/ME), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Intercompany, and Direct Procurement (MM) within a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Roadmap:
Define and manage the
SAP S/4HANA functional and solution roadmap
in alignment with our digital transformation strategy. Act as the primary
solution architect and functional expert
for integrated S/4HANA modules focusing on PP, MM, QM, SD, and EWM. Translate complex business requirements into scalable and compliant SAP S/4HANA solutions using best practices. Manage a portfolio of SAP projects ensuring they meet budget, timeline, and quality standards. Implementation & Optimization:
Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA , covering all phases from blueprinting through to post-implementation support. Oversee functional designs and configurations for key processes, including: Procurement:
Direct, Intercompany, and Source-to-Pay processes. Supply Chain & Manufacturing:
Production planning, execution, and inventory management. Quality & Compliance:
Quality Management processes ensuring regulatory adherence. Warehouse & Logistics:
Managing Advanced Warehouse Management in regulatory environments. Ensure compliance with
GXP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements
relevant to the pharmaceutical sector. Team Management & Governance:
Lead, mentor, and manage a talented team of SAP consultants and external integrators. Establish and uphold robust
SAP governance processes
for change and release management. Act as the main liaison among the IT department, Business Process Owners, and Executive Leadership. Qualifications 15+ years of progressive experience
in SAP functional and solution delivery. At least 7 years of experience in leading SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation projects. Extensive functional expertise in core SAP modules:
PP, QM, MM, and EWM . Experience in a
highly regulated industry , understanding GXP, validation, and compliance. Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and projects. Education & Technical Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields. Strong knowledge of S/4HANA architecture and integration technologies. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels. The base salary range for this role is $186,880 to $233,600. This role also offers opportunities for merit-based increases, a short incentive plan, eligibility for our 401(k), and comprehensive insurance packages.
