About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a Senior Director of Enterprise Expense Analysis who will play a vital role in analyzing and reporting enterprise expense results for Northwestern Mutual and its subsidiaries. This position demands an analytical leader who can collaborate with various departments, providing valuable insights to Senior Leaders and the Board of Trustees.
Your Responsibilities Include:
Overseeing the expense reporting process and delivering insights for senior leadership, including Board meetings and strategic presentations.
Leading enhancements to the expense reporting framework for executive management.
Creating and managing monthly performance analytics to elevate reporting and forecasting accuracy.
Collaborating with different departments to identify and communicate essential insights for a high-level audience.
Contributing significantly to the enterprise expense strategy, focusing on spend forecasts and operational budgets, along with monthly workforce analytics.
Ensuring consistency in communication regarding expense results across the organization through enterprise dashboards and presentations.
Conducting research and preparing responses for survey inquiries, along with ad hoc analyses to support finance leadership.
What You Will Bring:
A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
An MBA or CPA designation is preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial management roles.
Strong analytical abilities complemented by financial writing and visualization skills to effectively interpret results.
Strategic mindset capable of integrating risks, financial performance, operational drivers, and market trends into meaningful insights.
