MORTGAGE LENDING SUPPORT ASSOCIATE

We are seeking a dedicated Mortgage Lending Support Associate to provide crucial assistance to our Residential Loan Officers in processing mortgage applications seamlessly. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for reviewing and submitting completed application packages, collaborating with operational teams, and keeping our Loan Officers updated on the loan pipeline status.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Loan Officers by collecting necessary documentation for new loan applications and accurately entering data into our loan operating system.
Organize and maintain all loan-related documents in a secure shared drive or repository.
Monitor and report on loan statuses, ensuring timely updates for Loan Officers.
Support Loan Officers in managing conditions and expiration dates on credit commitments.
Communicate with borrowers to gather additional information and documentation for successful loan closures.
Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations throughout your administrative tasks.
Respond to inquiries from borrowers, escrow, title agents, and others regarding loan status and related information.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: Required Qualifications: High School Diploma.
At least 1 year of experience in customer service or a related financial role.
SAFE Act Registration in good standing or the eligibility to register under the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act.
Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to exercise independent judgment with minimal supervision.
Experience in client interactions and working with vendors to obtain necessary documents.
Knowledge of job responsibilities and practical insights for resolving common challenges.
