The opportunity As an AI Identity Solutions Architect, you will collaborate across technology and business teams to craft and manage the seamless integration of Agentic AI, automation, and intelligence into EY's global Identity and Access Management (IAM) ecosystem. Working closely with Security Architects, Development Leads, Engineering, Operations, and other business units, you will ensure that AI solutions are designed securely, compliant with IAM standards, and align with EY's overarching technology and security strategies. You will play a pivotal role in aligning operational, security, and business requirements, translating them into robust IAM capabilities. These capabilities will encompass Identity Lifecycle Management, authentication and authorization, session management, access requests, provisioning, reauthorization, remote access, IAM services API, role and entitlement models, and directory technologies. Collaborating with other Architects and Service Owners, you will help outline a strategic roadmap that addresses current and future requirements. Your key responsibilities Collaborate with IAM and architecture teams to incorporate AI-driven capabilities into the IAM strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and security protocols. Design AI-augmented solutions to enhance the intelligence, automation, and adaptability of global IAM platforms. Integrate AI-based features like adaptive access control, predictive threat detection, and identity analytics into the IAM framework. Establish architectural standards and frameworks for AI-assisted IAM services across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments. Create guardrails and governance models for the secure deployment of AI and Agentic agents throughout EY's business units. Define and enforce unique identity management strategies for AI agents, covering their lifecycles, entitlements, and ownership relationships. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on the application of Agentic AI in identity operations, user experiences, and risk reduction. Partner with data and platform teams to align with enterprise AI governance and model management frameworks. Skills and attributes for success The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Information Security and: Proven experience in offering architectural guidance and consulting services to clients across various environments and systems. Extensive background in implementing or architecting AI, ML, or automation technologies within IAM or cybersecurity sectors. Experience in designing and integrating systems using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar AI orchestration standards. In-depth knowledge of Agentic AI architectures, including multi-agent systems, LLM orchestration, reinforcement-based agents, or decision engines. Strong proficiency with enterprise IAM platforms (Entra ID, Okta, Ping, SailPoint, CyberArk, PlainID) and identity analytics. Excellent communication skills to promote key security requirements and controls for development teams. Ability to articulate complex AI and identity concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Assurance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience: 12+ years of practical IT experience, with 8+ years in Information Security. 6+ years of hands-on experience in Identity & Access Management roles. 2+ years of experience in implementing or architecting AI/ML systems. Ideally, you'll also have: Experience designing or governing Agentic AI agents for workflow orchestration or decision automation. Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar). A knack for simplifying complex AI and identity topics for non-technical audiences. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, recognizing your performance and contributions to the organization. The salary range for this role across the US is $152,700 to $266,000. In the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento), the range is $183,300 to $334,100. Salaries are determined by factors such as experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. We expect most client-facing roles to work in person 40-60% of the time across engagements or projects.
