Instylla was founded in 2017 by Incept LLC and is funded by several leading venture capital groups.The companys flagship product, Embrace Hydrogel Embolic System, is FDA-approved for hypervascular tumor embolization and offers controlled, targeted, and persistent embolization.


Position Summary:

The Marketing Specialist will play a critical hands-on role supporting the execution of Instyllas marketing initiatives across conferences, sales enablement, and facilitation of internal content reviews. This role is ideal for an early-career marketer who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with commercial sales, clinical, and leadership teams.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing, this individual will help translate Instyllas clinical and product value into high-quality marketing materials and experiences that support the companys growth and commercialization of novel embolotherapy medical devices.

Sales & Field Support

  • Support the sales team with printed marketing materials, leave-behinds, and demo kits
  • Coordinate the preparation, tracking, and shipment of demo kits and promotional materials
  • Ensure sales tools are current, accurate, and compliant

Conference & Event Support

  • Support planning, preparation, and execution of national conferences, trade shows, customer and company events
  • Coordinate logistics for booths, shipping, signage, collateral, and on-site support
  • Maintain conference calendars, timelines, and checklists to ensure on-time execution
  • Assist with post-conference follow-up, lead tracking, and performance summaries
  • Coordinate dinners and events at conferences and trainings

Marketing Operations & Review Facilitation

  • Facilitate day-to-day marketing document reviews in collaboration with internal stakeholders from Clinical, R&D, and Regulatory teams
  • Track review status, manage version control, and ensure approvals are completed on time
  • Support compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements

Marketing Execution & Operations

  • Support day-to-day marketing execution under the guidance of the Sr. Director of Marketing
  • Coordinate with external vendors and agencies (design, printing, event services)
  • Maintain marketing asset libraries and ensure version control and brand consistency
  • Assist with basic market research, competitive tracking, and Voice of Customer initiatives

Digital Asset & Content Management

  • Manage digital marketing assets, including organization, naming conventions, and versioning
  • Ensure sales and internal teams have access to the most up-to-date materials
  • Support content updates and coordination with external vendors or agencies as needed
  • Provide logistical and executional support for commercialization initiatives


Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field required
  • 13 years of prior experience in marketing or a related role
  • Prior experience at a medical device, biotech, or life sciences company strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting conferences, events, or field-based commercial teams preferred


Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with commercial and clinical stakeholders
  • Proactive, positive, and team-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to support occasional evening, weekend, and conference travel
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)


Working Conditions:

  • Primarily office-based with extended periods working at a computer
  • Domestic travel required; international travel possible
  • Ability to lift and transport marketing materials and packages up to 50 lbs
  • Flexible schedule to support conferences and customer events
