
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Mother Baby unit position requiring acute care experience and a NJ or compact RN license.
Job Details
• Work in the Mother Baby/Maternity unit of a hospital setting, • Provide care for mother and baby as a couplet, • 12-hour day shifts (7a-7p) with 3 shifts per week, • Required to work 3 to 4 weekends per month and 1 to 2 holidays, • Use of EPIC EMR system, • May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital,
Job Requirements
• Active NJ or compact RN license required, • Minimum of one year acute care Mother Baby nursing experience in a hospital setting required, • BSN preferred, • Excellent communication and computer skills required, • Ability to speak, read, and write English, • Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted,

• Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using the nursing process, • Promote evidence-based care in collaboration with all members of the healthcare team, • Demonstrate professionalism, respect, involvement, dignity, and excellence in delivering care, • Assignment is limited to one calendar year, with required break periods before returning, • First-time travelers are accepted,
