A key member of the Development and Communications team, the Annual Giving Manage is an experienced fundraiser and storyteller who employs multi-channel appeals (mail, email, digital) and personalized stewardship to secure meaningful gifts from prospects and donors. As a storyteller and steward of donors, this position is a passionate champion for our work and mission. Reporting to the Director of Development, the position plays a pivotal role in achieving and exceeding our annual fundraising goal of $2 million+ from individual donors.

The candidate should be entrepreneurial and a collaborative team player, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and have demonstrated experience in successful donor campaigns, planned giving and stewardship. The candidate should have demonstrated success in frontline donor solicitation and annual fund fundraising, project management, have excellent written and visual communications skills, demonstrated experience in employing direct mail, email and social media platforms to develop and implement successful fundraising campaigns.

Duties and Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Annual Fund Program (70%) In collaboration with the director of development and the vice president, development and communications, develops and executes strategies for year-round fundraising program focusing on donor acquisition, loyalty and retention, and upgraded giving levels through multi-channel appeals (mail, email, digital). This program can include but is not limited to annual calendar of regular appeals, managing campaigns (Giving Tuesday, Spring appeals, etc.). As required, adapt and respond to specific market changes to employ rapid response fundraising. Works closely with communications team to ensure messaging and presentation meet and enhance brand requirements and works in collaboration with communications priorities. Manages budgets to provide a strong return on investment. Employs data & analytics to segment audiences, track campaign performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to ensure maximum response to appeal efforts. Analyze fundraising data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, supporting continuous enhancement of annual fund strategies. Build a sustainable donor base that fosters a pipeline for major gifts. Donor Stewardship (20%)

Develops and implements personalized donor stewardship efforts to ensure donor retention. Collaborates effectively with the CEO, director of development and the vice president, development and communications, to ensure donor engagement is consistent, thorough and thoughtfully executed. Oversees and manages donor acknowledgement. Reporting and Data Management (10%)

Maintain appropriate records on all annual fund donors and prospects in Raiser's Edge, tracking cultivation and stewardship activities and progress to goals, updating information within 24-48 hours of engagement. Works collaboratively with the data base manager to ensure consistent gift tracking and detailed donor records Qualify prospects through rating and screening, prospect list segmentation and analysis, and research. Track donor history and produce comprehensive reports on fundraising progress, providing actionable insights to the team to inform strategy and decision-making. Performs other duties as assigned in support of the organization's mission. Essential Skills & Qualifications

Strong fundraising, marketing, and communication skills (written & verbal). Excellent writing skills, with an ability to develop compelling messaging. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing annual fund programs. Experience with CRM software (e.g., Raiser's Edge) and data analysis. Proven ability in project management, strategy development, and donor relationship management. Able to work effectively under pressure, handle competing priorities and respond to short deadlines with a team and independently. Strong attention to detail with a focus on results and process. Flexibility to meet sudden and unpredictable needs and willingness to work outside standard established business hours. Strategic thinker with the ability to manage short- and long-term plans and goals Passion for the organization's mission and ability to foster a culture of philanthropy.
