Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking an outgoing Golf Shop Retail Sales Agent to join our team. Omni Frisco PGA Resort provides north Texas with 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 new food and beverage outlets, an extravagant spa and a full entertainment district. Featuring two championship 18-hole golf courses along with a third short course, we will provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining, events, and entertainment. This team member will be responsible for greeting guests in the retail shops. The Retail Sales Associate performs the role of a shopkeeper, presenting merchandise to customers, assisting with merchandise selection, and facilitating the sales transaction. Responsibilities include: Stocking shelves, counters, tables and similar display fixtures with merchandise in a fashion that maximizes product visibility and promotes sales. Arranging signage and advertising collateral in an attractive fashion. Selling merchandise to guests. Responsible for shop cleanliness, proper displays, placing new merchandise on floor as well as insuring all items are properly tagged and inventory control. Affix accurate prices to merchandise with stamps, tags, labels and similar methods. Providing suggestions, information, and similar assistance to customers as requested. Maintaining substantial knowledge of products in assigned store as well as general product knowledge regarding merchandise for sale in other retail outlets on property. Accurately recording sales and other transactions using the point of sale system. Accepting payment and making change as necessary following established accounting procedures. Maintaining continuous effort to clean shelves, counters, tables, fixtures, glass and floors. Maintaining awareness to all safety precautions and procedures to ensure a safe atmosphere for guests and employee partners. Completing daily sales reports for analysis. Being aware of current monthly sales performance and increasing sales per hour and units per transaction as required. Participating in periodic merchandise inventory as scheduled. Adhering to cash handling policies. Qualifications include: Strong guest service skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
