Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist is directly responsible for supporting the Parts and Service Departments along with processing all required paperwork in regards to parts and inventory activity. Functions and Responsibilities Communicate with customers and vendors through phone, email, sales and service in a timely manner Provide parts, pricing and availability information to customers Responsible for placing orders and shipping to customers Responsible for accurate inventory controls Place weekly stock orders using NDS as a guide Any relevant duties that may be assigned Desired Education/Experience Minimum: High School diploma or GED preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Good knowledge of stockroom inventory practices Accuracy in keeping records of items received and issued Accuracy in maintaining perpetual inventory Must have strong computer skills Able to work cooperatively with peers to achieve established goals. Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to organize and prioritize jobs Physical and Environmental Requirements: Sitting (working at a desk) - up to 80% Standing

up to 10% Walking - up to 10% Lifting - up to 25 lbs. with good body mechanics (lifting devices are used for heavier loads) Moderate deviations of the wrists 1-960 hand or wrist repetitions/day Word processing (use of computer keyboard) Moderate use of both hands Very accurate near vision (20/20); accurate far vision (20/40) Minimal color discrimination and depth perception The ability to hear a whispered voice at 3 feet Exposure to moderate, steady and fairly loud noise, below 85db The ability to work in 80-90F temperatures during the summer May be exposed to slippery work surfaces
