As an Account Manager, you support the success of our specialty insurance programs by delivering excellent service to insureds, retail agents, and wholesale brokers. This role focuses on account coordination, underwriting support and policy processing. Responsibilities include assisting with gathering underwriting information, preparing quotes, processing renewals and endorsements, and ensuring smooth, timely delivery of policies and documentation. You will help maintain strong partner relationships and contribute to program growth through reliable service and attention to detail. Essential Functions Obtaining renewal and/or underwriting information for accounts Conduct follow-ups on applications, quotes and outstanding items to move accounts toward completion Communicate effectively via phone and email to answer questions, provide information, and support brokers and clients throughout the process. Rate renewal accounts and prepare compelling quote proposals with appropriate terms and conditions Binding policies and completing associated paperwork including processing payments Ensuring that items are delivered to clients in a timely manner Quote and process change endorsements Support broker and carrier relationships through reliable communication and professional service. Provide performance feedback on program competitiveness Participate in industry related events/conventions. Perform other duties as assigned including projects Competencies to be expected within 9-12 months Full understanding and application of Underwriting Guidelines to facilitate efficient quoting and closing Proficient knowledge of program applications Ability to independently rate, quote, bind policies and endorsements, and complete schedules with minimal to no oversight Competency in understanding state-specific requirements Understanding of PPIB procedures, systems, and workflows to drive sales efficiency Eligibility Qualifications Active Property & Casualty License

Home State 2-3+ years of prior commercial insurance Fully proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Other Information Remote eligible if more than 75 miles from Petaluma location In office required if within 75 miles from Petaluma location with an option to work from home two days a week Permanent remote employees are expected to travel to Petaluma office 4-5 times per year (company paid within approved guideline) Work hours are from 8:30am PST to 5:00pm PST, Monday

Compensation: Disclosure required under applicable law in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, and Washington states: The expected salary range for this position is $31-$36 hourly and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
