Located in Pittsburgh PA or Cincinnati OH. Full-time. Remote (within Pittsburgh or Cincinnati). As an Equipment Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to support our sales staff and customers by specifying and quoting foodservice equipment, coordinating deliveries and installations, and overseeing project management. Your dedication to customer satisfaction and sales excellence will be key in achieving our business objectives. Essential functions & responsibilities: Customer service excellence: promptly respond to customer requests via in-person interactions, phone calls, and emails. Demonstrate superior customer service skills in all interactions, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate in the field with our territory sales team by assisting in foodservice equipment sales opportunities. Quoting and sales: generate precise quotes for both standard and customized equipment, providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs. Support street sales representatives in the quoting process to drive sales growth. Order processing and procurement: process sales orders accurately and efficiently for multiple accounts. Place purchase orders with vendors for project and inventory items, ensuring timely delivery. Project management: oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring goals and deadlines are met. Coordinate equipment deliveries and installations, collaborating with internal departments as necessary. Collaboration and communication: collaborate professionally with internal departments such as credit, customer service, purchasing, and warehouse to meet customer needs. Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations. Competencies: Superior customer service attitude with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and team collaboration. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues. Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues. Highly motivated, self-directed, and dedicated to maintaining a professional work ethic. Qualifications & experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications are a plus, or equivalent military or practical experience. Working knowledge of the AutoQuotes system is preferred. Previous experience in equipment sales or related field. Foodservice experience is essential. Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
