Our client, a U.S. based real estate development and investment firm with cross-border activities, is seeking a Bilingual Japanese Real Estate Acquisition Specialist / Manager to join their U.S. team in El Segundo, CA.

This role is open to junior–mid candidates (Specialist) or more experienced professionals (Manager). The position focuses on acquisitions, market analysis, and project coordination, with opportunities to work closely with both U.S. and Japan-based teams.
Must-Have Requirements 4–5+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, development, or investment Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously Strong understanding of Multi-Family (apartment) business models and acquisition processes Familiarity with property and/or asset management operations Fluent in English; Japanese proficiency sufficient for professional communication Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred: Experience supporting or executing Multi-Family acquisitions Established network of brokers, developers, property managers, or consultants Experience preparing financial analyses, underwriting, or investment memos Exposure to cross-border or Japan-related transactions Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to take ownership of projects
Responsibilities Acquisitions & Market Analysis Support or lead sourcing and evaluation of Multi-Family acquisition opportunities Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and deal-level financial reviews Prepare investment materials, memos, and presentations Project & Operations Support Coordinate with brokers, developers, property managers, and consultants Track deal timelines, documentation, and key deliverables Support contract reviews and internal approvals Cross-Border Coordination Prepare reports and updates for Japan-based stakeholders Support bilingual xsgimln communication between U.S. and international teams Assist with meeting coordination, summaries, and follow-ups
Location & Compensation Location: El Segundo, CA (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-time Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 (Specialist) | $120,000 – $150,000 (Manager, depending on experience) Visa Sponsorship: Not available
