The Director Clinical Services, Imaging will oversee the operations of all departments that fall under Radiologic Services including inpatient and outpatient imaging. The Director Clinical Service, Imaging will utilize their comprehensive clinical and leadership expertise to support and grow the Radiology service line. In addition to overseeing departmental operations and budgetary duties, this role oversees the creation and implementation of a long-term vision for the various departments that make up radiological services.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage all radiology operations within the hospital, including diagnostic imaging, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine services. Develop and implement departmental goals and initiatives aligned with hospital objectives for quality, safety, and patient experience. Oversee staffing, scheduling, performance evaluations, and professional development for radiology team members. Collaborate with hospital leadership and physicians to ensure timely and accurate imaging services that support hospital care. Manage departmental budgeting, including operational expenses and capital planning for equipment upgrades and replacements. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (Joint Commission, NRC, state/federal guidelines) and maintain readiness for inspections. Drive continuous improvement through data-driven quality assurance programs and patient satisfaction initiatives. Serve as a liaison between radiology and other departments to enhance workflow and referral relationships. Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5 years of experience in imaging services, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. EDUCATION:
Graduation from an accredited program of Radiologic Technology Bachelor's degree in radiologic sciences, Healthcare Administration, or related field LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
ARRT-R (RADIOGRAPHY) OR ARDMS-RDMS (AMERICAN REGISTRY FOR DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL SONOGRAPHY-REGISTERED DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL SONOGRAPHER), OR AART-NMT (AMERICAN REGISTRY OF RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGISTS-NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGIST) OR NMTCB-NMT (NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGY CERTIFICATION BOARD-NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGIST) SKILLS:
Strong knowledge of imaging modalities, regulatory compliance, and quality standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
