Overview About the Position

The Graphic Design & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the growth and visibility of our USA Environmental laboratory services through the creation of compelling marketing materials, digital communications, and trade show branding. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented individual with a strong foundation in graphic design and the ability to translate complex analytical concepts into clear, engaging content. Success in this position will require close collaboration with internal stakeholders, including technical experts, business development teams, and management, to ensure consistency, accuracy, and impact across all marketing initiatives.

Specific Responsibilities

Create and update digital and print materials, including brochures, flyers, high-end presentations, case studies and infographics.

Assist in the visual maintenance of the company website, ensuring all imagery, banners, and resource links are up-to-date and visually aligned with the brand.

Develop visual assets for digital campaigns, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.

Design and oversee booth graphics and layouts for industry trade shows and conferences, enhancing brand presence.

Collaborate with technical teams to understand service offerings and translate them into client-facing content.

Ensure all design work aligns with brand guidelines and collaborate closely with the corporate marketing team to maintain consistency

Plan, create, and manage social media content on LinkedIn to promote company capabilities, thought leadership, and events.

Organize and maintain content libraries, including templates, images, and collateral for efficient reuse.

Observe established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures;

Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to take raw data or complex text and turn it into a compelling infographic or layout.

Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools (e.g., Hootsuite, or similar).

Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Ability to balance creative design with strategic marketing objectives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a closely related creative field.

1–3 years of professional design experience (internship experience included).

A strong digital portfolio demonstrating clean typography, layout skills, and brand consistency is required.

Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint for presentation design).

Preferred “plus” skills

Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects for creating short videos

Strong copywriting and editing skills

Email marketing and/or marketing automation experience

Physical Demands

Manual dexterity to perform intricate and/or repetitive tasks such as keyboarding.

Ability to use and view a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day.

Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities
