Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a

Senior Manager MedTech Procurement, Marketing Category, Agencies and Media

to be located in New Brunswick, NJ.

We will also consider candidates to work out of Raritan, NJ or Titusville, NJ, with the ability to travel to New Brunswick once per week.

J&J's MedTech Marketing Category is a complex global category with annual spend ~ $585MM USD. The Agencies and Media spend is divided in five broad clusters:

1) Global Creative Services

2) Public Relations and Communications

3) Digital Creative Services

4) Marketing Sponsorships

5) Global Media Agencies.

The category delivers value through spend performance (cost, compliance, risk management, sustainability, innovation), and supplier relationship management.

The role will be in charge of developing and executing category strategies aligned with business needs, owning supplier relationships, driving cost savings, enforcing compliance with MedTech Procurement standards, processes, best practices, tools, delivering against MedTech Procurement performance targets. The role will also ensure functional alignment and excellence in procurement strategy, business planning, performance management, stakeholder engagement and change management.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to;

Category Management: Lead the strategy and execution of MedTech Marketing - Agencies and Media category and related sub-categories / commodities. Design forward-looking strategies that advance business priorities, balancing cost, growth enablement, risk, speed, and sustainability. Collaborate with senior business leaders to ensure Procurement strategies meet business needs, are socialized effectively, and are adopted within the business. Value Creation & Cost Optimization: Develop and leverage deep expertise to proactively identify and implement cost-saving measures and establish a robust value delivery pipeline. Outside-in perspective: Identify critical industry market and supply trends and embed them into category strategies to maintain sustainable relevance for MedTech. Sourcing: Lead and provide oversight to the Agile Team and Global Services Team on the operational execution of global category strategies and their implementation, including sourcing events and negotiations. Strategic Negotiations: Lead complex, high-stakes negotiations for owned categories ensuring value creation, risk mitigation, compliance, and relationship outcomes. Contracting: Monitor supplier contracts and lead contract negotiations as needed. Supplier Relationship Management: Lead supplier relationship management process, ensuring speed-to-value, risk management, and supplier performance management. Supplier Innovation & Partnership: Build strategic supplier partnerships that unlock innovation, enable commercial solutions and bring value to the organization Cash Flow Improvement: Deliver cash flow improvement by optimizing payment term to suppliers Functional Leadership: Support the J&J One Procurement strategy and execute joint collaborative initiatives Performance Management: Own delivery against Procurement performance targets within the role's remit; establish dashboards and lead reviews to ensure target achievement. Risk, Compliance & Governance: Uphold ethical sourcing, data privacy, anti-bribery/anti-corruption standards, and contracting governance; anticipate and address regional risks proactively. Digital & Capabilities: Identify opportunities to advance digital and functional capabilities in category strategies, supplier performance management, and risk mitigation to drive speed, precision, and innovation. Qualifications:

Relevant Bachelor's degree (e.g. Business, Engineering, Science) required, preferably complemented by MBA or other Master's qualification Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience, preferably inside and outside Procurement and in different J&J sectors or industries Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Uncompromised requirements for the role) :

Demonstrated skills in Strategic Procurement, Sourcing, Category and Supplier Management. Proven track record of developing and executing category strategies that deliver cost savings, mitigate risk, and improve supplier performance. Strong understanding of sourcing processes, contract lifecycle management, and supplier governance across diverse indirect spend areas. Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively with internal functions such as Marketing, Legal, Finance. Excellent negotiation skills, with experience managing complex supplier relationships and high-value contracts. Ability to engage, interact and negotiate value enhancing relationships with suppliers. Strong business acumen with the ability to align sourcing initiatives to broader organizational goals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to and influence senior leadership. Proficiency with procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba) and comfort working with data in Excel; familiarity with analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau and AI is a plus. Strong business and finance acumen, deep understanding of managing for impact in complex matrix environment Proven ability to lead, influence, partner on & shape projects with / without direct team / authority; High level of credibility with internal customers, and with the supplier community, based on broad experience Strong user level with data analysis / visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, PowerBI) and AI tools (i.e. Gen AI and Agentic AI tools, desktop software (e.g., MS Office), eSourcing (SNOW, iCertis, ICD, Scout)

The anticipated base pay range for this position is : $122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency: Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation -120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
