About This Opportunity
The USBP is seeking highly motivated individuals to fill entry-level positions as Border Patrol Agents (BPAs). As a BPA, you will be part of an elite team dedicated to safeguarding our nation's borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing economic prosperity.
- Detect and question people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws by inspecting documents and possessions for citizenship or violations.
- Prevent and apprehend undocumented non-citizens at or near borders using surveillance from covert positions during night operations.
- Interpret physical evidence such as tracks, marks, etc., related to illegal entries of persons or contraband.
- Perform farm checks, building checks, traffic checks city patrols transportation checks among other duties that fulfill agency objectives.
