Duties And Responsibilities
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws by inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
- Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations
- Interpreting physical evidence of illegal entry, such as tracks marks,
and other signs of contraband transportation; - Frequent field work patrolling roadsides cities towns border areas working closely with communities across America.
