Border Patrol Agent Role
The role of a Border Patrol Agent is to safeguard the nation's borders and protect its citizens. To achieve this, agents work in diverse environments including desert regions, mountainous areas, urban settings, and remote wilderness.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve as an active member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer profession.

A critical aspect of this role involves enforcing U.S. immigration laws by conducting surveillance from covert positions and utilizing infrared scopes during night operations.
The agent must be prepared for unpredictable situations that may arise while on duty.
