Job Description:

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws while inspecting documents and possessions.


• Pursue violators at or near the border by utilizing surveillance techniques, detection systems, situation awareness tools, and communication equipment.


• Analyze physical evidence to determine entry points for illegal activity or contraband.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level performing duties such as apprehending violators, making arrests using sound judgment with firearms use, dealing effectively with people in law enforcement matters analyzing information rapidly making prompt decisions developing maintaining contact networks informants etc.​​
