As a Border Patrol Agent, you play a critical role in safeguarding our nation’s borders and protecting its citizens. Your expertise will help prevent smuggling of aliens and contraband while maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.
The typical assignments for this position include:
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws
- Preventing and apprehending aliens at or near the borders
- Patrolling international boundaries using various government assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, off-road vehicles etc.
Tech Requirements & Qualifications
- A valid state driver's license is required
