Key Responsibilities – New & Used Car Sales Manager: Lead, coach, and develop the auto sales team to consistently achieve sales goals and performance metrics Oversee daily sales operations, including showroom management, customer engagement, and deal structuring Use data and reporting tools to drive decision making and identify opportunities for improvement Train and mentor sales associates on product knowledge, sales process, and customer experience best practices Collaborate with General Manager and General Sales Manager on inventory strategy, pricing, and marketing initiatives Manage the sales funnel from lead generation through delivery to ensure a smooth, transparent customer journey Maintain high standards of accountability, ethics, and performance across the team Manage vehicle inventory and reconditioning of trade-ins. Appraise incoming used cars.
Qualifications - New & Used Car Sales Manager:
A proven and verifiable track record in automotive sales management Must be a highly motivated worker, thats a great closer, great with customers, knows vAuto, and takes charge on social media. Strong experience structuring and closing subprime/special finance deals High energy and hands-on with customers Willing to work deals from start to finish Great on the phone – making calls, following up, and working leads A leader who sets the pace and holds the team accountable Aggressive, organized, and relentless about winning Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined
