The Director of Player Personnel – [Offense or Defense] leads all player identification and evaluation efforts on their side of the ball, overseeing everything from game film and background checks to academic reviews and transfer portal scouting. This role serves as the Transfer Portal Liaison for their side and works closely with the other Director of Player Personnel and the Senior Director to drive a unified recruiting strategy. Essential Functions: Lead all identification and evaluation of high school, college, and transfer prospects.

Conduct in-depth evaluations using film, transcripts, background reports, and character intel.

Own and manage the recruiting board for their side of the ball.

Assign and organize evaluation duties across the coaching staff.

Serve as the Transfer Portal Liaison for their side, monitoring and evaluating portal targets.

Maintain accurate and comprehensive prospect profiles and rankings.

Coordinate recruiting travel plans for position coaches.

Provide coaches with detailed reports, evaluations, and recruiting insights.

Support the planning and execution of all recruiting events and visits.

Position requires regular evening and weekend work for recruiting events and evaluation activities.

Position requires some regional travel to evaluate prospects and support recruiting activities, as well travel for games.
