Join Our Team as a Business Banking Relationship Officer
As a Business Banking Relationship Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving growth by selling a variety of bank products and services tailored for companies with revenues ranging from $1 million to $20 million. Your focus will be on solutions like Commercial & Industrial financing, Practice Finance, and Payment Technology, all designed to attract new business to UMB. You will build and foster relationships within the community with Business Owners, CFOs, CEOs, and Controllers while also managing existing accounts to ensure profitability, reduce portfolio risks, and enhance overall growth.

Key Responsibilities
Engage with your network by participating in community and professional events to enhance UMB's brand and initiate new business opportunities.
Use your credit assessment skills to determine the eligibility of companies for loan offerings and maintain the credit quality of your portfolio.
Exercise your negotiation skills to structure loan proposals, analyze credit requests, and draft loan commitments for internal review.
Act as the primary contact for Business Banking clients, ensuring high levels of service and strong business retention.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a commercial lending role (up to 5 years).
Proven success in sales to small businesses alongside a strong understanding of credit and underwriting processes.
Preferable: Background in strategic industry sales knowledge and marketing skills.
Compensation $63,830.00 - $136,580.00
