
Job Description
Mortgage Loan Processor Responsibilities
Collect loan documents including income, employment verification, bank statements, property documentation, credit reports, etc. Analyze financial data calculating debt to income ratios and other financial metrics to evaluate loan suitability. Ensure the application is complete and accurate before submitting it to the underwriter for review. Contact borrowers to request missing information, update them on loan status, and answer questions. Clear conditions and collect documents needed from underwriting. Track loan status throughout the process and address any issues that arise. Communicate proactively with internal teams, clients, and external partners, to provide updates on request status and progress. Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Required skills and qualifications: MINIMUM of 5 years experience of working in a high volume mortgage environment Attention to detail with the ability to carefully review documents for accuracy and identify potential errors. Strong organizational skills to efficiently manage large volumes of documents and files within the pipeline. Financial analysis skills being able to understand financial statements, credit reports, and debt-to-income ratios. Effectively communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, etc. Proficiency in computer software and technology savvy. Able to keep up with a fast-paced environment. Willingness to communicate primarily by phone, email and text. Compensation
