Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Melville, NY for a Personal Lines Account Manager. The Personal Lines Account Manager will handle daily account activities, provide exceptional customer service, and manage policy renewals. Responsibilities include delivering personalized insurance advice, identifying coverage needs, processing endorsements, issuing certificates, and liaising with insurance carriers on behalf of clients. The role demands proactive communication with clients regarding policy updates and changes, as well as accurate record-keeping and timely follow-ups.
Qualifications
Expertise in Customer Service, Client Relations, and Client Communication Skills
Proficiency in Policy Renewals, Policy Management, and Endorsement Processing
Experience with Risk Assessment and Insurance Coverage Analysis
Strong Organizational, Multitasking, and Attention-to-Detail skills
Proficiency in insurance software platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and maintain a client-centered approach
Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred
Prior experience in the insurance industry, particularly in personal lines, is highly beneficial
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus
