Position Overview This entry-level opportunity within our client's asset management group is designed for aspiring professionals aiming to establish a career in investment and wealth advisory. Reporting to senior asset managers and their associates, the role offers practical involvement in daily portfolio handling, transaction processes, and account oversight.

The Portfolio Analyst is essential for maintaining the precision, efficiency, and synchronization of routine investment activities. By managing transaction flows and facilitating collaboration among internal groups and outside entities, this position allows senior managers to concentrate on strategic planning and oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the onboarding of new accounts by managing setup procedures, gathering necessary paperwork, and aligning internal processes.

Handle transaction monitoring from start to finish, flagging potential problems early and addressing them promptly.

Facilitate billing cycles by verifying approvals, checking fund availability, and arranging necessary fund movements.

Support account updates and requests in collaboration with client support teams.

Compile and oversee yearly summaries for clients, incorporating any required regional‑specific details.

Assist with cash flow oversight on a daily basis, working with support and administrative units to confirm readiness for investments, charges, and client transactions.

Generate and submit trade directives along with required backups, under senior oversight, and liaise with administrative teams and external parties for implementation.

Gather, sort, and archive account records from custodians and related sources.

Act as a central organizer for administrative and functional projects in the asset team, linking with research, support, operations, and third‑party collaborators.

Review and correct inconsistencies in accounts, such as costs, fees, and custodial expenses, per agreed terms.

Manage fund transfers, including document creation, processing with financial institutions or custodians, and verification of completion—this covers investment commitments.

Address miscellaneous client needs, including scheduling and other on‑demand support.

Develop and verify operational directives for investments, guaranteeing thoroughness, correctness, and prompt authorization.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in areas such as economics, business, accounting, finance, or similar.

3‑5 or more years in roles related to operations, financial advisory, client relations, or asset handling.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, for processing and examining complex data.

Excellent abilities in prioritization, workflow handling, and relationship building.

Enthusiasm for acquiring knowledge in asset strategies and oversight.

Preference for candidates fully proficient in English and Spanish, in both oral and written forms.
