Core Responsibilities Core Financial Aid Advisor Responsibilities
This role directly supports the trajectory of students\' careers and helps aspiring beauty professionals receive the support they need to pursue their dreams! You\'ll need to be highly accurate, detail-oriented, and thorough in your work to make sure all paperwork is appropriately filed and the students receive the financial support they\'re eligible for. You will:
Accurately prepare and process paperwork for grants, loans, and counsels
Review students\' and families\' financial status to determine aid eligibility
Answer questions and follow up with future professionals as needed to ensure all paperwork is submitted on time
Review documents to verify accuracy and regulatory compliance
Fully comply with all federal, state, and institutional financial aid guidelines and regulations
Avoid handling confidential information, maintain compliant records, and meet all deadlines
Qualifications Required Experience & Abilities
2+ years of financial aid experience
Solid work history with at least one verifiable reference
Strong computer proficiency and data entry skills
Ability to accurately interpret and follow federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Ability to work in-person at our Sacramento location
Ability to use reports and spreadsheets to perform needs-based analyses and make data-driven decisions
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
