Director of Financial Reporting
to join our team in
Bellevue, WA . Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, and as a key member of the Accounting and Finance team you’ll manage the production of financial reporting for the DevCo family of companies and have responsibility for Corporate Accounting, and Audit and Tax compliance.

$175,000-$190,000/year

Job Responsibilities
Using Yardi, deliver credible and timely external and internal monthly and quarterly financial reports. In collaboration with FP&A, present quarterly results to our ownership group and external stakeholders with analysis and implications for underlying businesses.
Responsible for compliance of all financial reporting requirements as outlined in partnership agreements, loan and regulatory agreements.
Assess current reporting and systems, identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
Lead an ongoing implementation of Yardi Investment Accounting and Investment Manager and optimize utilization of Debt Manager module.
Review financials, partnership agreements, loan documents, etc. to accurately incorporate financial structures into reporting software.
Partner with Corporate Controller in year-end Audit and Tax return preparation by coordinating with external accounting firms.
Lead monthly cash calls providing oversight for cash distributions, adhering to waterfall structures that drive the priority of distributions.
Partner with the Corporate Controller to document and improve accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to maximize efficacy of software systems.
Work cross functionally to communicate and present financial findings.
Qualifications
Strong technical accounting expertise: CPA strongly preferred
Commercial real estate accounting experience required; LIHTC experience strongly preferred
Experience gathering requirements and designing and delivering financial reports for internal and external use.
Demonstrated success in presenting financial findings with in-depth analysis about the impact to the business.
Hands-on experience with Yardi; Investment Management module experience strongly preferred.
Deep working knowledge of audit and tax compliance, including coordination with external auditors and tax advisors.
Experience managing and developing accounting teams, with demonstrated success driving efficient, automated, and compliant processes.
Experience leading capital calls with adherence to waterfalls distribution model.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
