Responsibilities
Design and implement effective marketing strategies to sell new insurance policies or adjust existing ones
Contact potential clients and create rapport by networking, cold calling, using referrals, etc.
Evaluate and analyze the needs of business or individual customers and sell suitable protection plans across multiple lines of business
Conduct needs-based customer policy reviews
Stay abreast of the insurance industry and company protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, all while providing superior customer service
Keep sales databases, customer records, and related organizational tools current to accurately report progress of marketing and sales efforts
Capitalize on client cross-sell and retention opportunity
Qualifications
Experience in delivering customer‑centered solutions and creating long‑lasting relationships
Excellent listening skills and ability to communicate
Goal‑oriented
Skilled at networking and building a community‑based practice
High level of integrity with a track record between words and action
