Industrial, Retail, Office, Land, and Multi-Family . How this role fits into the organization:
You will operate within a "Deal Pod" structure (2–4 brokers per team). Unlike traditional brokers who work in silos, you will be backed by the full weight of Envoy’s construction and development ecosystem. You will leverage our internal data on construction costs, zoning, and development feasibility to provide clients with answers that competitors cannot match. What success looks like: Market Leadership:
You actively claim a specific asset class territory (e.g., "The Industrial Expert") rather than dabbling in general real estate. Revenue Generation:
You drive consistent brokerage revenue through aggressive prospecting, utilizing the Envoy brand reputation to open doors that are closed to others. Strategic Advisory:
You move beyond the transaction to become a consultant, advising clients on "Lease vs. Own" and "Build-to-Suit" scenarios using Envoy's proprietary insights.
Responsibilities
Drive Business Development:
Execute a rigorous outbound prospecting strategy (cold calling, canvassing, and networking) to secure exclusive listings and tenant representation mandates. Manage the Deal Lifecycle:
Oversee the full transaction process from Letter of Intent (LOI) generation to final closing, ensuring complex negotiations regarding valuation and lease structure are handled with precision. Leverage Construction Insights:
Consult with Envoy’s internal project managers to provide clients with real-time feedback on tenant improvement (TI) costs, retrofitting feasibility, and zoning entitlements to remove deal friction. Utilize Brokerage Technology:
Maintain rigorous data hygiene in the CRM and utilize
CREXI
and
CoStar
to identify off-market opportunities and maximize listing exposure. Collaborate Within the Pod:
Work dynamically within your assigned asset team (Industrial, Office, Retail, Land, or Multi-Family) to share market intelligence and support team revenue goals.
Qualifications
We are hiring at three distinct levels. Please identify which tier matches your experience: 1. The Team Lead (Senior Broker) Experience:
3+ years of commercial real estate experience with a verifiable track record of closing sales/leasing transactions. Skills:
Strong negotiation capabilities, ability to mentor junior associates, and deep knowledge of a specific asset class. 2. The Associate (Licensed Professional) Experience:
1–2 years of real estate experience OR a strong background in B2B sales. Requirement:
Active Indiana Real Estate License (or currently in the process of transferring). Skills:
Proficiency in cold outreach, financial literacy, and eagerness to learn the "Envoy Method." 3. The Future Producer (Career Pivot/Unlicensed) Profile:
You have a successful background in insurance, tech sales, or business development and are seeking uncapped earning potential. Requirement:
Willingness to obtain an Indiana Real Estate License immediately. We provide the platform; you provide the hustle.
