We are seeking a Head of Performance Revenue to own and scale performance-driven revenue across Valnet and Valserv. This is a senior, director-level role for a performance marketing leader with deep experience in lead generation and monetization, ideally within the insurance and/or mortgage space. You will be responsible for maximizing monetization efficiency, optimizing yield, and driving sustainable revenue growth across advertising, affiliate, and other performance-based channels. Sitting at the intersection of data, strategy, and execution, you will act as a player/coach—setting direction while remaining hands-on with paid campaigns, analysis, and gap coverage as needed. You will lead cross-functional efforts with editorial, product, ad ops, and partnerships to turn traffic into predictable, high-performing revenue. Key Responsibilities

Own performance revenue targets and forecasts across applicable channels (paid media, affiliate, lead generation, performance ad formats, etc.) Develop and execute strategies to improve RPMs, yield, and lead monetization efficiency Identify new revenue opportunities, formats, and partners aligned with performance goals Performance Optimization

Monitor and analyze revenue performance, traffic trends, and monetization KPIs Run tests and experiments to optimize placements, formats, layouts, and demand sources Drive continuous improvement through data-backed decision-making Cross-Functional Leadership

Act as a player/coach, setting direction while remaining hands-on in execution Partner closely with teams to align content and product strategy with revenue performance Influence content and traffic strategies through revenue insights without compromising editorial integrity Partner & Platform Management

Manage and grow relationships with key monetization partners, networks, and platforms Leverage existing industry relationships and develop new partnerships within the insurance and mortgage ecosystem Negotiate commercial terms and evaluate partner performance Stay ahead of industry trends, policy changes, and platform updates impacting revenue Reporting & Insights

Build and maintain clear dashboards and reporting frameworks for executive leadership Communicate performance insights, risks, and opportunities in a clear and actionable way Establish benchmarks and success metrics across brands and properties Qualifications

Required 5-10 years of experience in performance revenue, digital monetization, ad tech, or a related field Proven track record of driving revenue growth in a high-traffic digital environment Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using analytics and monetization tools Deep understanding of performance-based monetization models (programmatic, affiliate, CPA/CPC, etc.) Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders without direct authority Preferred Experience in digital publishing or large-scale content platforms Familiarity with SEO-driven traffic and content monetization strategies Experience managing teams or senior individual contributors Strong negotiation and partner management experience Full health insurance plan (including medical, dental, and vision).
