In this interesting role you will be working in our Risk Management & Compliance Department.

Some of the responsibilities include:

Adherence to quality, health & Safety, Information security and business continuity policies.

Contribute to the development of company strategies and business plans by identifying and emphasizing key compliance requirements and potential regulatory impacts associated with strategic options and initiatives.

Establish and maintain an integrated compliance management framework across Al Awalia, incorporating industry best practices to ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards.

Support senior management in developing compliance strategies, programs, and monitoring mechanisms that align with the organization’s objectives and regulatory landscape.

Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and control frameworks to ensure alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards.

Monitor organizational compliance through audits, reviews, and assessments to identify gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.

Prepare and present compliance reports and dashboards to senior management and relevant stakeholders, highlighting compliance status, issues, and corrective actions.

Assist in developing and maintaining the company’s compliance register, ensuring timely updates and documentation of compliance obligations and actions.

Develop and maintain department-level compliance reporting templates, ensuring consistency and completeness across the organization.

Support projects and initiatives by integrating compliance requirements into their planning and execution stages.

Conduct compliance assessments and follow up on corrective and preventive action plans to ensure timely closure.

Promote a compliance-aware culture through communication, awareness sessions, and training initiatives across all departments.

Coordinate employee training sessions and awareness programs to enhance understanding of compliance standards, ethical behavior, and regulatory obligations.

Perform any other ad‑hoc duties relevant to the role as assigned by the line manager as per business requirements.

About you:

For you to be successful you will need to have the following:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, or any related discipline is preferred.

Postgraduate qualifications such as MSc, MBA, or PGD in a relevant discipline are preferred.

Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in compliance, governance, or internal control.

Excellent command of English and Arabic languages is preferred.

Proficient in MS Office tools.
