Develop a business plan and sales strategy to achieve company sales goals and profitability. Lead, develop, and coach Outside Sales Account Managers to maximize performance and growth. Prepare and execute action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects. Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets. Assist in development and implementation of marketing plans as needed. Conduct one-on-one reviews with Outside Sales Account Managers to provide training, development, and performance improvement. Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance. Price all completed prospect applications accurately and competitively while maintaining profit margin. Maintain accurate records of pricing, sales, and activity reports. Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses. Control expenses to meet budget guidelines. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes. Recruit, test, and hire Outside Sales Account Managers based on agreed criteria. Internal / External Cooperation

Ensure that Outside Sales Account Managers meet or exceed activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closes. Delegate authority with accountability and follow-up. Set examples for Outside Sales Account Managers in personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits. Conduct regular coaching and counseling to build motivation and selling skills. Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction. Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees. Qualifications

At least 2 years of college required, or equivalent experience; prefer 4-year bachelor’s degree. 5–7 years of experience in sales management with a degree or 10 years’ experience in sales management without a degree. Experience with enterprise software solutions and large, complex organizations. Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management. Willingness to travel and work in a regional team of professionals. Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
