What role will you play? The role is dedicated to Macquarie Capital Principal Finance – Private Credit. Investment opportunities span a range of private credit structures (primarily unitranche financings, as well as second lien debt, HoldCo PIK loans, and mezzanine debt or preferred equity). Team members are generalists investing across a range of industries, structures, and deal types.

Your primary responsibilities will be identifying, analyzing, executing, and managing attractive risk/return investment opportunities. Key day‑to‑day contributions will include:

Leading diligence conversations and efforts with internal teams, counterparties and external experts

Presenting in meetings including investment committee discussions

Gathering data from differentiated data sources to support investment theses with an evidence‑based approach

Preparing critical analysis including robust financial models, quality of earnings analysis, and KPI analysis

Distilling information into succinct investment committee memos / external presentations

Salary range for this position: $120,000 - $210,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. What you offer

1-4 years of experience in full‑service M&A, capital markets and/or investing

Strong analytical and technical aptitude, with extensive exposure to business analysis/research and financial modelling

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proactive self‑starter with an ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment
