This role is an opportunity to support the Direct Sales Department for the North American market by setting market-based pricing for machines. This role will manage the pricing strategy to optimize market share and meet company sales goals while maintaining profitability. This role is based in Savannah, GA. Position Type
Full Time, Non-Exempt As part of JCB’s Direct Sales team you will work closely with our field-based support team and our internal sales team to deliver a successful pricing structure to achieve business objectives. You will be supported by a welcoming team that will help you. What you can expect from the first 60 days
Learn the JCB product range and current pricing structure Understand the existing P&L process Map all data sources feeding pricing Identify automation opportunities and bottlenecks in the current workflow What you can expect from the first 6 months
Prototype automated P&L builder (Power Query, macros, or system-based) Improve existing Excel templates into scalable, system-ready models Assist with competitive and market pricing analytics Begin transitioning manual tasks into automated processes What you can expect from the first Year
Deploy automation tools that significantly reduce manual quoting Establish a sustainable pricing workflow where quoting is system-driven rather than spreadsheet-driven Create documentation and handoff processes to expand automation across the department Support data readiness for new product launches and long-term business intelligence needs Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments tests as applicable Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated financial acumen and knowledge of financial statements Strong self ‑ starter mentality — consistently looks for ways to improve processes without being asked High intrinsic drive (“fire in the belly”) to grow, problem ‑ solve, and succeed independently High proficiency with Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, Power Query, and overall data manipulation Comfort working in ambiguous, fast ‑ moving environments where not all answers are provided Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to explain data and logic clearly Ability to prioritize, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure Demonstrated curiosity and continuous learning mindset Passion for building tools, automating processes, and eliminating inefficient manual work Preferred Qualifications
Construction equipment parts knowledge Aftermarket parts pricing background Proficiency in SAP Proficiency with data warehouse and reporting tools such as Power BI (MS) Able to interpret Engineering drawings Strong understanding of OEM and distributor roles in selling of product Advance Excel skills that include VBA, power queries and power pivot Job Conditions
