LSSI is hiring a full-time Intact Sr. Child Welfare Supervisor, Monday through Friday. This role is responsible for supervising a unit of direct service staff who provide foster care, adoption, and intact family and/or counseling services. The supervisor may oversee a team of Child Welfare Supervisors and assist a Program Director.

Essential Functions
Supervise staff, which may include Child Welfare Supervisors, who provide services to achieve permanency for children per the service plan and agency, accrediting, and regulatory requirements.
Assist the Program Director in the management of the site and programs.
Complete and submit all reports, billing, and documentation accurately and on time as required by the agency and funding sources.
Promote working relationships with community organizations, churches, funding bodies, and other providers.
Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and partner organizations with dignity and respect.
Position Qualifications
Master’s degree in social work or a related field required.
Background check clearance, both criminal and CANTS, required.
State licensing/certification as required by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience required.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated ability to display positive organizational and leadership skills.
Excellent organization, presentation, and pc/computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related software.
Valid driver’s license in good standing for the state of residency is required.
Access to reliable transportation for visits, meetings and to transport clients as needed.
Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage for bodily injury and property damage.
