We are seeking a
Sales Application Engineer
to support our ITT C\'treat business in the US, Mexico, West Africa and other regions as needed through targeted selling of water desalination packages, after market parts, and service. The role is located in Woodlands, Texas. Essential Responsibilities
Contacts and calls on engineers, production/drilling supervisors and other professional and technical personnel at platform/drill rig constructors, engineering companies and offshore oil & gas companies and attempts to convince prospective clients of the benefits and advantages (vs competition) of purchasing C\'TREAT\'s equipment and services. Reviews technical and commercial specifications, drawings, plans, and other customer documents to develop and prepare proposals for selling C\'TREAT\'s systems. Prepares proposals for management review for innovative process designs and equipment and services which would result in cost reductions or improvements in customers' operations. Proposes technical services to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipment. Works with other Sales Engineers to close orders and negotiate sales contracts. Communicates orders to the operations groups in the company and writes up Sales Orders under supervision of the Manager, Marketing & Sales. Education
Position Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree in a technical field (BSE) and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. A knowledge of a language other than English is desirable.
